Happy Wednesday Community!
For our 1st Wellness Wednesday, we will be talking about Sinusitis!
How many times have you told yourself, “Its just a cold…it will go away after a few days.” but after a week you are still stuck with that stuffy nose and sore throat?
Sinusitis, or Sinus Infections, have very similar symptoms as the common cold does, so it can be easy to misdiagnose yourself!
Sinusitis occurs when your nasal cavities become infected or swollen. This is caused by a virus, bacteria, or even your anatomy can play a huge part in recurrent sinus infections! Left untreated can lead to meningitis.
Common Sinusitis symptoms include; Pressure behind the eyes, runny or stuffy nose, headaches, fever, post nasal drip, and fatigue.
Are YOU still suffering from that cold you said would be gone days or weeks ago? You could be suffering from Sinusitis!
Do you get sinus infections multiple times a year? We offer same day CT scans as well. CT scans offer a deeper look into underlying sinus conditions, some of which can be caused by your own anatomy!
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, give us a call. We would be happy to get you feeling better before the weekend!
